Support
Questions, problems, or something the report button doesn't cover — write to us. You don't need to tell us who you are, and we'll never ask.
Email support
Replies usually take a few days. Nothing you send creates a public profile or links your email to your activity in the app.
Reporting content
The fastest route for anything harmful is the Report button on the post, comment, message or request itself. It reaches the safety team directly, with the right context. Read more about how safety works.
Delete your account
In the app, go to Me → Account & Data → Delete account. This deletes your account and its content. If you'd like a copy first, use Export on the same screen. Both are free.
Reports and moderation records are kept in minimised form after deletion where safety or the law requires it. See the Privacy Policy.
Cancel Sotto VIP
VIP is billed by Apple, so it's managed in your iPhone's settings: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → Sotto. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
Deleting your Sotto account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Settings too.
Account and data questions
For anything else about your account, email us from any address. Describing the problem is enough.
If you need support right now
Sotto isn't a crisis service. If you're going through something heavy, these free, confidential helplines can help. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
Questions
Is it really anonymous?
Nobody using Sotto can see who you are. There are no usernames, no profiles and no follower counts.
Sotto does keep a private internal account, so blocking, reporting and moderation work. If you secure it with Sign in with Apple or an email link, that’s only so you can recover it — it’s never shown to anyone.
Can people find where I am?
No. Location is used only while the app is open, and only if you allow it. Your phone rounds it to roughly 200 m before sending it.
Other people see a distance band like “1–3 km away” — never a map pin or an exact distance. The Everywhere feed works without location at all.
Who can message me?
Only someone responding to one of your posts, and only if you say yes. You choose Accept or Ignore, and they’re never told which.
There’s no directory, no random matching, no typing indicators and no read receipts. Nobody owes anyone a conversation.
What happens when I report something?
Reporting takes two taps. Your report goes to the safety team with the context they need, and a human moderator reviews it. They can remove content, limit its reach, restrict an account or suspend it, and every decision is recorded.
You can also block anyone instantly. Blocking works both ways.
How do I delete everything?
In the app, go to Me → Account & Data. You can export everything you’ve created, or delete your account and its content. It’s free, always.
To remove a single post, choose Release this post. Reports and moderation records are kept in minimised form where safety or the law requires it.
Is there an Android or web version?
Not yet. Sotto is iPhone first.
